What? I have School back then, and let me fucking tell you. School is much more time consuming that my current work is. Yeah you have more holidays, but during holidays, most people (funny enough) actually does NOT play WoW. It's weird, but that's what the people on my servers did back then (Proudmoore-US) I played vanilla private server, Woltk private server and retail wow at the same time last year. The only downside from this live style is that i don't have time to play other games, the last game i played and completed is Witcher 3 and Sekiro....

It’s not comming back. That’s what’s wrong, everyone is going to know everything, everyone is going to have a plan, the vanilla I know is never coming back, you cant replicate this experience. Just let it die.

And those will complain on how they dont have much time because of jobs, family, friends and other hobbys, but still demand to experience all the content and get all the loot, thus the game will get easier and the loot faster to get, which then will spawn the same people complaining about how the game is too easy.

The real question is: are people really willing to not only give blizzard.. sorry i mean activision money but also stay subscribed for more than 2 months? I mean there is a difference between "vanilla is quite cool lets play for free on a private server" and "lets pay 13€ every month to do the same content for years"

Blizzard: shuts down community made vanilla servers that people worked extremely hard to create. Also Blizzard: "Hey guys we're making a vanilla server!"

vanilla is much better than the casual stuff now. imo obviously. but i dont care to support blizzard, but i will if they make expansions with vanilla mechanics. once wotlk hit it got so boring.
